Jewell students in Uganda

Two Jewell students, Christine Duncan and Anna Dickson, are spending the summer in Uganda to work with an organization called Women's Alliance and Children's Affairs. Part of their preparation for the trip has been to gather Jewell students together to sponsor their soccer team. Jewell students are partnered with women on the team, and have sent them correspondence as well as a matching soccer jersey. Christine and Anna will be teaching basic CPR and First Aid to the women, among many things other things while in Uganda this summer. Check out their blog for updates throughout the summer.
